My name is Tanylea Malloy, I am the administrative receptionist here at Palmer’s Home Care! I started working here in February of 2024 and have loved getting to know all of the employees, staff and individuals: they are all so welcoming! :)

I am originally from Centralia, MO but moved to LaPlata, MO in high school where I obtained my CDA to teach Preschool. I co-taught while in college before I decided to move to Columbia, where I lead preschool and toddler classrooms for another few years! I absolutely love watching children grow and feeling like a part of their successes, which is why I feel I love it so much at Palmer’s! Being the smiling face when you enter Palmer’s is a good feeling and making connections with everyone here makes me so happy! I was intrigued in PHC because of their close family values and seeing the overwhelming support from staff everywhere, I love the tight knit community they have created!

I am a huge lover of animals, plants of all kinds and food! I have 2 kitties at home (Vinnie and Pete) who are my babies and are always sure I’m kept on my toes! I believe everything works better if you keep an open mind and aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty!
